Message	not go bad as often because they are made differently. If you have a pre-94 model, the injectors sit in a bad spot. Any brand of gas that has a lot of additives will put a film on the injectors making them give bad readings. You need to try a different brand of gas that has less additives. At least this is what I was told by Ultimate Z. The 94+ fuel injectors sit differently and are not affected in the same way.
